Regardless of whether you are more introvert or extrovert, we as humans, crave social interaction. Coronavirus quarantine has curbed our ability to cater to that need and, let’s be honest, it has everyone a little stir-crazy.

We can all play our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19, simple things like washing your hands and keeping a safe distance go a long way. Here are some other things you can keep in mind to help #FlattenTheCurve.
Stay at Home
It is now more important than ever to stay at home. Yes, we know it sounds amazing in theory to not have to do anything, and for some it may have been a dream come true. But, the reality of the situation is that staying at home may not be as fun as you once thought, especially when you are being asked to and it is not your own decision. If you are stuck for things to do, then check out our post on what to do at home during these times. As An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar said, “we will come together as a nation, by standing apart”.

Bray to Greystones cliff walk
Mar 17, 2020 10:28:23 AM / by Cathal McCrory posted in ThingstodoDublin, DayOffDublin
This walk is one of the highlights of walking in Ireland. It is approximately 7 Kilometres and takes around 2.5 hours to walk, the route takes you from Bray to Greystones along the gorgeous coastal path. The pathway laid out is well maintained and is located near the rail line so you can return by dart to the starting point. It is around 25 minute walk from the dart to start the cliff walk and you make your way to the beach from Bray station then follow the beach south all the way to the end. The walk starts here and you have great views of the sea on your left and the hillside on the right. The views from the cliff are beautiful and the surface can get stony at times so I would recommend wearing runners as they are probably the best shoes to wear as the path is very well maintained but during the winter parts can be quite muddy whereas in the summer its completely dry.
Things to do during a Nationwide Lockdown

We are living through an unprecedented time in our lives, and as the Government has implemented further restrictions on social interactions we will be spending quite a bit of time at home. Keeping that in mind, here is a list of things to do to keep yourself occupied.
Keep a Blog/Diary
As mentioned above, this is uncharted territory and many people don't know how the next few weeks and months will play out. Given that, it is a great idea to keep a diary or make a blog on your life during these coming months. Document your life, what is going through your head, what happened today that made the day a little better? Even if nobody but yourself reads it, it is a great way of getting your thoughts on paper and something to show to your grandchildren in years to come.
Powerscourt Waterfall

Powerscourt Waterfall is Ireland's most elevated at 121m (398ft). It is set in North County Wicklow simply outside Enniskerry Village. The heavenly Waterfall falls down over the stone rocks from the peatlands above. The perfectly clear water streams down to the waterway beneath where it proceeds on its excursion out to the ocean at Bray. The valley itself was cut out by an ice sheet during the ice age! Today Powerscourt is an asylum for a portion of Ireland's untamed life, vegetation. The Sikka deer were first presented here by Lord Powerscourt in 1858. The Waterfall is best observed soon after overwhelming precipitation and the sheer volume of water and commotion is unquestionably an incredible sight.

Walking around with a coffee in hand, the smell of freshly risen bread straight from the oven, the acoustic melody of the busker, the site of dogs playing, and a market like nothing else, it has to be the Dun Laoghaire Market.

In recent years Dublin is steadfastly developing a vibrant ‘dive bar’ and social scene that is far from the typical upmarket joints that have previously dominated the streets (think Sam’s or Cafe en Seine). Joining the likes of The Bernard Shaw, The Big Romance and Riot are two newcomers who are bringing a whole new look and feel to the city. Introducing: Ohana and Anti Social.
