My trip to Thailand was the most wonderful experience of my life. It was the first time I had ever left Europe, my first long haul flight and the first time I truly learned about and embraced different culture. In Thailand I island hopped, partied until sunrise at the infamous Koh Phangan Full Moon Party as well as explored cities and rainforest too. It is a trip which I will never forget. The vibrant, beautiful ‘land of smiles’ truly lived up to its name and the expectations I had created for it from hearing many other people’s south east Asia Travel stories. The majestic, breath taking temples and pristine waters which look like a filtered photograph are truly amazing.

If you were to ask me two years ago if I were to go skydiving in Interlaken and skiing in the Swiss Alps, I would’ve thought you were crazy for asking. It has only been about a month into my study abroad experience in Dubin, and I have already seen more parts of Europe than I thought possible. I can only imagine all the cool and inviting places I will get to see during the rest of my semester here. The absolute best, and most adventurous place I have been so far was Switzerland, where the days were filled with thrilling activities and some of the best food!
You can never do wrong with traveling in a varied country like New Zealand – as long as you are picking the right traveling date. New Zealand is on the opposite side of the World which means if you want to leave the beautiful rainy Ireland in December/January you will have your second summer vacation in New Zealand at this Time and travel on a budget. But never forget that it supposed to rain on 9 days a month (Luckily, I had only one rainy day in 6 weeks traveling...).
