In a world where fast fast fashion has taken over, consumers are increasingly choosing clothing that is trendy and cheap, over options that are better quality, and perhaps more sustainable. Largely driven by the cheaper price tags that caters more towards the younger demographic, this widely-adopted consumer choice has the potential to have disastrous impacts on the environment over the medium to long-term. In order to combat this, I am proposing 3 fashion brands that exhibit eco-friendly, sustainability, and morally-sound practices/values that offer clothing that will last forever and keep your wardrobe fresh for any occasion! 

From 6 to 9 September, in Paris, was held the IMPACT event, a sustainable fashion show in collaboration with Who's Next.

Commitment, traceability, transparency, environment and know-how are the key words of this event dedicated to committed fashion. The motto is "Act Now For Positive Fashion".

In a world where environmental sustainability is becoming more and more of a pressing issue, companies and consumers alike have started to take the necessary steps to ensure the future remains green. For companies, it’s integrating initiatives like sustainable sourcing throughout the supply chain. For consumers however, it seems like people are still a bit confused on how they can make a difference through the purchases they make. This is especially prevalent towards areas like clothing, where billions of tons of textile waste are generated through the disposal of clothes.

Patagonia has long been heralded as one of the most socially-conscientious companies of its generation. But how has it managed to maintain such strong core ethical values, while also improving its bottom line year upon year? In order to investigate this, we will examine four ways in which the company has demonstrated good practice.
