Boston has plenty of watering holes you can go to along with clubs if you're seeking a thrill for the night, but during the day, Boston also has plenty of attractions for people of all ages. I'll start with one of the most classic attractions in Boston---

Fenway Park, is home to the Boston Red Sox, one of the most historic franchises in America's National Pass time. The baseball park was built in 1912 and has been home to the Red Sox ever since. With six world series championships, the Boston Red Sox have become one of baseball's most storied franchises. If you are visiting Boston during the spring or summer, make sure to grab tickets to a Sox game and enjoy the intensity and high standards that Boston sports fan are known for. They don't call Boston the city of champions for nothing. With 17 basketball championships, 6 american football championships, 6 baseball championships and 6 ice hockey championships, Boston has become the epicenter of American sports. If sports history is your cup of tea, make sure you ask a native of Boston about the "Curse of the Bambino", which is the detailed history of Boston trading away arguably the greatest baseball player to ever do it, in Babe Ruth, which then resulted in an 86 year championship absence by the Boston Red Sox, spanning from 1918 to 2004. Since then, Boston has won 3 baseball championships.

THE NORTH END

The North End is the oldest residential neighborhood in Boston, beginning in the 1630s. One of the biggest attractions here is the Paul Revere house, where he left for his famous "midnight ride" in 1775. Other historical attractions in the North End include, Old North Church, Union Wharf, Mariner's House, and Copp's Hill Burial Ground. The North End is home to most of Boston's Italian population and has several famous restaurants with high rated food. If expensive food is out of your reach but you still want some Italian, you'll have no problem jumping into just about any pizza spot for a slice, you really can't go wrong. However, if you are searching for the best pizza in Boston, look no further than the iconic Regina Pizzeria. The line can get long so pick your time wisely.

This 2.5 mile long trail takes you from the Boston Common, all the way to the Bunker Hill monument on the northern side of the Charles River. The Freedom Trail has many stops along it's red brick past, and to see them all could take the entirety of a day. Some of these stops include the Masschusetts State House, Granary Burying ground, Old Corner bookstore, Old South Meeting House, colonial era churches and buildings along with the Boston Massacre site that details the history of the American Revolution. You can either purchase a tour throughout the Freedom Trails, which last about 90 minutes, or wander about it yourself.

DUCK TOURS

In case you aren't sure what a duck tour is, I'll explain. After revamping amphibious vehicles from World War II, the city of Boston, along with several other cities, created what are known as Duck Tours, which bring you throughout Boston seeing several historical landmarks including the Boston Common, Quincy Market, and the TD Garden, home of the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins. After this, the tour takes to the Charles River where you are able to see a fantastic view of Boston from the "dirty water" which has become iconic from the song "Dirty Water" by the Standells, with the chorus "Love that dirty water, Boston you're my home". Children are giving the opportunity to drive the boat for a few minutes with supervision, creating a unique experience for the entire family to enjoy.

NEW ENGLAND AQUARIUM

One of the most popular attractions in Boston, due to its 4 story ocean tank, which can be seen from 360 degree view throughout the aquarium. Animals featured in this tank include, sea turtles, bonnet head sharks, stingrays, tarpons, tropical fish, barracuda, and eels. The shark and ray touch tank has become very popular along with the penguin exhibit. People do love penguins! The Edge of the Sea exhibit is also very popular because it allows visitors to hold a hermit crab or a sea star among other creatures. If you come to Boston in the summer months, there is also a whale watching tour on site of the aquarium, which has been known to be a fantastic experience for families.
