The days are getting longer, and the weather is getting better. Spring and summer are around the corner. Normally that would be one of the best times of the year. Classes are completed, the yearly summer vacation is due BUT COVID-19 seems to stay a bit longer. As the government announcement, the lock-down in Dublin will be extended until May.
But don’t worry, if you were just about to turn crazy about the fact that you have to spend even longer without a good wine and dine or a chilled house party after your studies, we, the Offline team, have gathered a couple of to dos:
1.Plan a Scavenger Hunt for your friends or family
Even though you may not have seen your friends in a long time, you can brighten their days with a self-made scavenger hunt through your city. You can be creative and may learn new things about your city. Your friends are getting their 10k steps and improving their problem-solving techniques. If you don’t want to do it the old fashion way with paper and pen, you can use several online tools to generate your hunt on an app which your friends can download. Like ActionBound. With that app you can create missions and tasks and you can see which of your friends was the quickest or who solved the most riddles.

Besides that, a journal is helps you to reflect about your day and how you deal with the feelings of isolation. You even could write a blog about a specific topic you like and gain some new friends who are also into that topic. Best case: You’re becoming a blogger. Who knows, you may have to tell your grandchildren about the global pandemic one day. 😉
