In this eight part series, , Andy Puddicom (a former Buddhist monk and co-founder of the globally beloved Headspace meditation app) takes viewers through the proven benefits and science behind meditation.
In what I would describe as an absolutely brilliant docuseries and as a perfect way to get yourself into meditation. Each episode is told through animations, which definitely keeps it engaging while also having a very relaxing tone to each of the eight episodes.
Andy presents the information in a way that anyone can grasp, so viewers don't have to have experience or prior knowledge to meditation, making it easy and enjoyable to understand and follow. Each of his stories are relatable, and his guidance and expertise on certain topics is very useful.
Personally speaking, I think it would be fantastic to see the show come out with even more seasons. Perhaps with other experts in the fields point of view, and an explanation to their unique journey.
This show is the gift that keeps giving. This is very beneficial in helping with stress and anxieties, and helps to train yourself so no matter what your life decides to throw at you, you have a way to help yourself and the people you have relationships with. Through practicing the meditation techniques discussed throughout the series, you will definitely find that it can bring a lot more peace and balance to your life.
