Tiktok - the app that we all lose numerous hours too. At 10pm we all begin by saying "I’ll just watch a few videos, they’re only 1 minute long so I’ll only stay on for 15 minutes". Three hours later, it’s 1am and you’re still lying-in bed and aimlessly scrolling through videos that spam your ‘for you page’ (fyp). It is clear that Tiktok has taken over our lives, whether this is a good or bad thing, we do not really know, but one thing is certain, the delicious Tiktok recipes that have gone viral around the world have definitely had a positive influence on all of our lives.

Food Tiktok or Foodtok is one of the most beloved areas of the app where you can spend hours looking at how people put together a whole meal in front of your eyes in under a minute. It’s mind-blowing!!! These Tiktokers really make us believe that we can become the next Gordon Ramsey with the meals that they can produce and most of them are super easy to make and fool proof for anyone that does not have experience in the kitchen.

This popular area on Tiktok is all about introducing people to the wonders of what cooking can do. Everyone is hyping each other up, encouraging you to try out new cuisines and recipes and to throw your hat in the ring and see what amazing meals you can share online for them to hopefully grab the attraction of others and go – dare I say it? Viral. That is the hope of all Tiktokers now a days and even in the food hemisphere, people are trying to become Tiktok famous and make their videos the ones that manage to grip the world and gain millions of likes and comments.

So, today I have 3 of the most viral recipes that have taken Tiktok by storm. They are healthy Tiktok dinner recipes that anyone can create and are meals that are nutritious and will keep you wanting more. They are delicious recipes that you can create for your whole family that will be a guaranteed success and one of them is even a recipe created by one of the top supermodels in the world!

To make your life easier, I have split the post into three sections so you can skip onto whichever recipe takes your fancy if you do not have the time to fully scroll through the post:

  1.  Baked Feta Pasta Dish

Baked Feta Pasta

First up, is the infamous Tiktok recipe that caused supermarkets in Finland to completely sell out of feta cheese. If you have not been living under a rock for the past month, you will know about this nutritious Tiktok recipe that has gripped millions of people across the world! It is, of course, the famous baked feta pasta dish. This is an incredibly easy meal to make and only requires 7 ingredients.

  • Cherry Tomato’shealthy tiktok dinner recipes
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 block of Feta Cheese
  • Your favourite pasta
  • Garlic
  • Basil leaves

Steps:

First up, grab a large baking dish and place the carton of cherry tomatoes inside. Cover them in a generous amount of olive oil and salt and pepper and then add your block of feta cheese right in the middle of the dish.

Bake this in the oven for 35 minutes at 400°F or 180° in a fan oven.

Whilst that is in the oven at about 15 minutes left in the cooking time, start cooking your pasta of choice.

Once the 35 minutes are up, take the dish out of the oven and smash up the feta cheese and just mix it in with the tomatoes. Add some garlic and fresh basil and then mix it all together to create the main sauce.

Finally, add the cooked pasta in on top and voila – you have created the viral tiktok recipe of baked feta pasta.

Twice Baked Potatoes

The second recipe that has created some hype is the savoury and tasty twice baked potatoes dish. This meal is wholesome and is guaranteed to leave you wanting more. It is a very simple recipe to create and is something that you can have with your family as a delicious meal or it is the perfect dish to make if you are in college or have a very busy schedule and want to just throw something into the oven whilst you go about your business.

  • 2 or more potatoes of choice (preferably large potatoes)

Filling:

  • Sour cream
  • Milk
  • Butter
  • Spring onion

Toppings:

  • Anything you like – for this recipe I am using cheddar cheese and bacon to melt on top and then adding sour cream and extra spring onion to garnish

Steps:

First thing to do is to pop your potatoes on a baking tray and place them in the oven for 40 minutes to 1 hour (depending on the size of your potatoes) at 350°F or 160° in a fan oven.

During this time (or after the potatoes are done and are cooling) you can create your filling mixture. Place sour cream, milk and a nob of butter into a bowl and mix this altogether.

Once the potatoes are cooled enough for you to touch them, cut the potatoes in half and scoop out the insides of them and add this to your filling mixture. Mix it altogether, add chopped spring onions and salt and pepper to taste and once you are happy with it, spoon the filling into the hollow potato skins.

Add your toppings of choice on top. For this recipe, I am adding a generous amount of cheddar cheese and small bacon pieces.

Place this all back in the oven for a further 15 minutes to let your toppings melt and cook and then hey presto – delicious twice baked potatoes. (You can add sour cream and an extra sprinkle of spring onions on top to garnish if you like!)

Gigi Hadid's Vodka Pasta

Last, but by no means least we have another delectable pasta dish. This nutritious Tiktok recipe was actually created by Gigi Hadid and once she shared it on her socials, everyone wanted to try it out. Lucky for us, there are some amazing home cooks on Tiktok, and the recreation of this mouth-watering meal went viral on the app within a few hours.

So, without further ado, I introduce to you……the Gigi Hadid Vodka Pasta. *Disclaimer: There is actually no vodka in this pasta. At the time that Gigi shared this on her Instagram account, she was pregnant and therefore could not drink alcohol, but we did not know that and thus this incredibly delicious Tiktok recipe was born.

This Tiktok recipe is the perfect quick meal to serve to your family and is one that everyone will enjoy. If you are a busy mum or a singleton who does not have a lot of time on their plates, this meal is the perfect solution. It is simple to create, fast and delicious. There is a reason why it became viral on Tiktok so I would certainly suggest that you give this recipe a go if you are looking to create a meal that is currently on trend.

  • ¼ cup of olive oilTiktok recipes
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ cup of tomato paste
  • 1 cup of thickened cream
  • 2 tsp of chilli flakes
  • 2 tsp of basil leaves
  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups of pasta of choice
  • ½ cup of pasta water
  • 1 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

Start by cooking your pasta, as this can be left to cook whilst you create the luscious sauce.

In a pan add your olive oil, red onion and garlic and let that cook off for 2 minutes. Once softened, add the tomato paste and cream and cook on a low to medium heat for 1 minute.

After this, add in all the spices and basil leaves.

Once your pasta is cooked, stir in the pasta and add the ½ cup of pasta water to the pan to create a creamier sauce. Mix in parmesan cheese and butter, add salt and pepper to taste and ta-da you have created this healthy dinner Tiktok recipe and probably one of the quickest and most easy dinner recipes to ever grace the internet.
