The last year has been an unprecedented experience for all, no one could of pictured that we would not be allowed to go to a restaurant for a nice meal to enjoy some high quality mouth-watering food with friends and family. Although we can’t go to the restaurants we can bring the food to us. I want to share with you my experience of bring the fine dining experience to my home during lockdown and want to exposes you guys to some fantastic local restaurants that are doing takeaways that will blow your mind. I am not talking about your typical Friday night chipper or Chinese takeaway. I am exploring the local up market restaurants around south Dublin to see which restaurants doing takeaway are offering the best take home option. On this week blog we are going to be doing two restaurant reviews the Bistro One and Bresson.

Overview
Bistro is a small local restaurant located in the heart of Foxrock village providing its customers with the fine dining experience to takeaway to your own home. They are currently offering a wide variety of option on the menu with both fully cooked meals and Heat@home meals, the Heat at home option is fantastic, bring it home put it in the oven for 10-20 minutes and it is a high quality fine dining meal that people are craving during these times.
Personal experience review
The bistro One at home experience was a great fine dining experience at home. The Heat@home options are a fantastic idea I got the Chicken and leak pie and was as good as getting in the restaurant. God service and very easy to order trough there App. The only negative would be it is slightly over priced.

Bresson is a restaurant located in Monkstown in the heart of south Dublin. Bresson offers its customer the finest French cuisine fine dining experience. During the current circumstance’s. they are offering an extensive menu of beautiful food, including beautiful meats and a traditional Sunday roast. It’s a great substitution for going to a restaurant. it is high quality fine dining that you can enjoy in the comfort of your house.
Personal experience review
The Bresson takeaway was amazing. The food was of the highest quality and the portions sizes were very decent. I went for the Sunday roast and it was everything I expected it to be and better it was very traditional but was very tasty as well. The process of ordering is very easy, they have pictures of all the meals on the website which I believe is very important when ordering food it is nice to see what you are getting. Although it is on the more expensive side for the quality and portion size I believe it is worth it.
