Here, we are sharing with you the recipe for Egg Biryani. Indian Rice preparation with spicy egg to create a soul-pleasing dish for you!

INGREDIENTS FOR EGG BIRYANI RECIPE

  • Medium-Sized Eggs: 4
  • Basmati rice partially cooked with Bay Leaves + Black Pepper + Cardamom
  • Cardamom: 4
  • Cinnamon Stick: Small Piece
  • Black Pepper: 10-15
  • Clove: 3-4
  • Bay Leaves: 1
  • Finely Chopped Onions: 2
  • Finely Sliced Tomatoes: 2
  • Ginger: 1 Small Piece
  • Garlic: 2-3 pieces
  • Chilli powder: 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder: 1 Tsp
  • Green Chillies: 3-4
  • Salt: As per taste
  • Plain Yogurt: 1 Small Cup
  • Deep Fried Onions: 1 Small Cup
  • Finely Chopped Mint Leaves
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Lemon (Juice): 1
  • Garam Masala (Indian Ground Spices)

METHOD

1: Add 2 Tsp of Clarified Butter in a non-stick cookware and sauté Cardamom, Cinnamon Stick, Black Pepper, Cloves and Bay Leaves on low flame for 3-4 mins.

2: Now put sliced chopped onions and sauté till they turn golden in colour. After that put tomato pieces and finely chopped garlic and ginger. Wait for the tomato to turn pulpy. This step will take approx. 10 mins. 

3: Once the tomatoes are properly cooked, you can add Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Crushed Ginger, finely Chopped Green Chillies and Salt. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger, green chillies and salt and sauté. Stir fry for few mins.

4. Now add the bowl of yogurt, fried onions, mint leaves, lemon juice and boiled Eggs. Add 1 Cup of water and mix it properly.

5. Now take the partially cooked Rice and spread it over the masala. After that add a layer of Coriander and Mint Leaves. On top of that put the remaining deep-fried onions and a portion of rice. 

6. For flavouring add a pinch of cardamom powder and Indian Ground Spices and 2 Tsp of Clarified Butter.

7. Once all the layers are ready, cover it with the lid and keep it on medium flame for 6-7 mins.

8. Pour it all into a big bowl and dress up with mint leaves.
