Prague has become Europe's most popular destination attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists each year from backpackers to couples, there is something for everyone in this charming city.
The magnificent architecture, cheap prices and friendly locals are just some of the reasons Prague attracts visitors from around the globe. With so many things to do, we have shortlisted our top five 'must do's' for you trip to really immerse yourself in the beautiful Czech city in just a few days!
1. Visit the John Lennon Wall
A trip to Prague without visiting the John Lennon wall is incomplete. Since the 1980’s, the Lennon Wall has been continuously painted over and over again with John Lennon-inspired art and Beatles lyrics among other graffiti and street art. Students used the wall to air their grievances towards the end of communism. Today, the wall represents peace and love.
It is a must see in Prague and a very popular spot for tourists to take a photo - you can even write your own message on the wall too!
Velkoprevorské námestí. A visit to the wall is completely free.
2. Visit St.Charles Bridge
Charles Bridge is the main connection for both locals and tourists between the two banks of the Vltava River, and also an essential link between two popular Prague districts - it is also one of the most beautiful bridges you will ever visit and for this reason we have added it to our list.
However, Charles Bridge is notoriously busy and an incredibly popular spot for tourists so make sure to come early to experience the real beauty of the bridge. I would also recommend visiting the bridge during the day and also at night for a completely different experience.
If you're lucky you will get to watch the famous Prague buskers and artists perform along the bridge too.
3. Visit the Old Town Square

Finish one of your day's by taking a stroll in the famous Letná park which gives unparalleled views of the entire city. The park is a great spot for exploring, walking, enjoying a picnic or relaxing in the summer garden restaurant on the eastern part of the park.
With its beautiful views of Prague from the famous viewpoint and fabulous beer garden, the area of Letná is becoming an increasingly popular spot to visit. It has become a popular destination to watch the sunset, where you can buy a beer at Stalin bar (an open-air bar open from May-September).
Like most of Prague, the easiest way to Letná from the city center is on foot. Starting from the Old Town square, take the most expensive street in the Czech Republic — Pařížská (Paris) Street — and continue across the Čechův bridge. From there, climb the stairs up the hill and you will end up in the middle of Letná Park.

How to Get around Prague
The best thing about Prague is that walking is the best way to get from point A to B. Prague is a small city which makes it very easy to get around on foot without exhausting too much of your energy. If you’d rather opt to use public transport, it is also easy to use. A single ticket covers all forms of public transport (metro, bus, and tram) and is good for whatever time period you specify when you purchase it.
Nightlife
Make sure to also check out the nightlife in Prague - Karlovy Lazne a sizable 15th-century building converted into a sprawling nightclub spread over 5 floors renowned for its oxygen bar and ice bar as well as it’s huge dance floor.
