People always assume that “Vegans” can literally not know what “real” food tastes like. But there is a reason so many people are choosing to adopt this diet into their lifestyle. We are not asking you to go Vegan at once.  We know it is a time-consuming process and you need to have detailed information on each and every aspect of veganism. But giving a try to these Vegan snacks won’t do you any harm. We are sure you are going to realize that Vegan food can be made delicious as well.

Here are 5 tasty snacks that you can prepare when your mid-day hunger strikes:

  1. Smoothies 
     
                 

Tasty yet filling…. Smoothies are the perfect snacks that you can have in the middle of the day without in taking too many calories (no post indulging regret for you!) You can add berries to your drink which is filled with antioxidants (good for younger looking skin). Even add oats in it for your daily fiber intake and it also helps to keep you full for a longer time.

You can choose from a variety of dairy free options- oats, soy, almond, coconut milk (huge variety available at M&S stores near you)

  1. Pancakes

        

Who doesn’t love a good pancake breakfast? `

Pro tip: Add vegan chocolate spread/maple syrup on your pancake and top it with some strawberries or blueberries to make it Instagram worthy. Post it in your stories and see people’s reaction. Let them know that this is 100% vegan. (Get your Instagram A Game ready!)

 

  1. Avocado sandwich 

Avocados are rich in healthy fats and loaded with fiber therefore really good for your body. It is vegan and has a great taste which is a cherry on top. Avocado is great to have for your morning breakfast and also as a mid-day snack. That is why it is a favorite of most celebrities out there.

I know it sounds boring and you are probably going to hate me for it….but hear me out!!  Salads can be extremely healthy, delicious and filling. You can DIY those boring salads and add your own personal touch to it. Add some chickpeas, corn, avocados, tofu, potatoes into it to keep your hunger away for longer time.

  1. Quinoa veggie mix

     

Quinoa is a rich source of protein and fiber and can be used as a replacement for rice.

A cup of Quinoa has twice the protein and approximately 5 Grams more fiber than the same quantity of rice.

You can make a quinoa veggie bowl with some beans, chickpeas, corn, peas, kale, tofu, capsicum, broccoli and a million other vegan ingredients. Mix it all up and add some flavor to it with the help of vegan toppings (You can buy it from M&S or Tesco shopping centers)
