This year’s edition, held in Barcelona, will be the first in-person SEG since 2019 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Irish organic Salmon is an incredibly popular choice the world over. Buyers of Irish Organic Salmon prepare it in many diverse ways. Some examples include baking, smoking or using it as part of a seafood chowder to give it a full-bodied flavour.
Irish wild Pollock is fished sustainably off the south coast of Ireland. Irish Wild Pollock is a white fish, full of flavour. It is often used alongside cod, in fish and chips or fish fingers, as well as a seafood chowder.
There are three main types of Oysters cultivated in Ireland - The European Flat Oyster, The Portuguese Rock Oyster and the Pacific Oyster. These Oysters are usually found on Ireland's west coast. The nutrient-rich waters of the West coast are ideal for growing oysters. The rugged coastline, shaped by the Atlantic ocean is indeed a perfect breeding ground.
